Our middle school site is co-located at the I.S. 181 campus. Our middle school classes encompass 12:1:1, 8:1:1. and 6:1:1 special classes, as well as inclusive education partnered with our co-located community school (I.S. 181) and serve students who participate in both NYSAA (alternate assessment) and standardized assessment programs. The focus for our students in grades 6-8 is to support the transition process from elementary to middle school by providing our students the resources needed to build independence within a supportive and nurturing environment for both students and families. All 176x@181 students participate in a departmental scheduling model. Additionally, we have various school based worksite opportunities that allow students to interact within their school community including; 6 Amigos Cookies, Stock Room, Breakfast Buddies, Chef N’ Crew, The Corner Bodega, Berry Chill Smoothies, Personalization Station, Get Perked Up Coffee Shop, and Juice Joint.
